Short Description
The State of New Jersey’s Department of Health is seeking a Windows Java Team Lead to direct the development team in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of installing, configuring, migrating to, and administering WebLogic 14c.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of installing, configuring, migrating to, and administering WebLogic 14c
- 8+ years of experience as a technical lead
- 8+ years of upgrading Java versions for enterprise applications
- 8+ years of troubleshooting legacy Java code and computer applications
- 8+ years of Oracle 12c and above
- 8+ years of experience with Eclipse developer tools/deploying using Eclipse
- 8+ years of functioning in a large-scale, complex, cross-functional /platform environment
- 8+ years of Toad and SQL Developer database tools
- 8+ years of configuring Microsoft IIS and SSL certificate management on IIS
- 8+ years of Windows Server OS task scheduling and batch scripting
- 8+ years of creating configuration, build, and test scripts for continuous integration environments (JUnit)
- 8+ years of using Maven deployment tools
- 8+ years as a lead developer using STRUTS or Spring MVC
Desired Skills/Years of Experience:
- 2+ years of migrating from earlier versions of Oracle to version 19c above as an application developer

The Windows Java Team Lead will be tasked to:
- Direct the development team in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications
- Coordinate the development staff’s schedule
- Ensure effective communication between team members and other IT functional areas
- Provide feedback and suggestions for process and product improvements
- Act as a technical mentor and adviser
- Migrate from earlier versions of Oracle to version 19c and above
- Use Eclipse developer tools
- Deploy using eclipse
- Create configuration, build, and test scripts for continuous integration environments
- Use Maven deployment tools
- Install, configure, migrate to, and administer WebLogic 14c
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
