Short Description
The State of New Jersey's Administrative Office of the Courts (NJAOC) is seeking a Senior Websphere J2EE Developer to design, implement, code, test, and document new programs, and debug, troubleshoot, and maintain source code. The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of Java SE and Java EE.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience
- 9+ years of Java SE
- 9+ years of Java EE
- 9+ years of designing, developing, and constructing J2EE systems
- 9+ years of Servlets, EJB, JDBC, JPA, JSF, JSP, JNDI, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, and JAX-B
- 9+ years of using Java's Database Persistence JPA and Object Relational Mapping framework of MyBatis
- 9+ years of experience with SOAP/Rest web services
- 9+ years of HTML4, XML, CSS, and JavaScript
- 9+ years of SQL
- 9+ years of using Microsoft Team Foundation Server or IBM ClearCase source control systems
- 9+ years of developing supportive documentation
- 9+ years of usability testing
- 9+ years of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 5+ years of experience with Object Relational Mapping frameworks such as Hibernate and TopLink
- 5+ years of IBM Websphere
- 5+ years of Eclipse-based IDE
- 3+ years of HTML5

- 2+ years of experience with Responsive web design

Complete Description
The State of New Jersey's Administrative Office of the Courts (NJAOC) is seeking a Senior Websphere J2EE Developer to design, implement, code, test, and document new programs, and debug, troubleshoot, and maintain source code. The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of Java SE and Java EE.
The Senior Websphere J2EE Developer will be tasked to:
- Write code to create single and multi-threaded or user interface event driven applications, either stand-alone and those which access servers or services
- Design, implement, and test database schemas
- Use source debuggers and visual development environments
- Work with designers and content producers
- Write code to generate web pages, access databases, and business logic servers
- Develop specifications, prototypes, or initial user guides
- Create visual modeling or diagramming of the current and proposed workflows.
- Assist in the development of processes and procedures
- Integrate with enterprise products/systems
