The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office of Administration's Enterprise Technology Services Office (ETSO) is seeking a Senior IT PMO Project Manager to direct the implementation and management of high-priority, high-profile Commonwealth enterprise-wide information technology projects and SME support. The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of professional IT project management experience.
* This position is remote, but the candidate must have the ability to be on-site as requested.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent technical study with advanced study
- 8+ years of experience with business, technical, or integration consulting
- 8+ years of experience managing large scale initiatives
- 8+ years of experience working with a PMO
Desired Skills/Years of Experience:
- PMP Certification
- ITIL Foundation Certification

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office of Administration's Enterprise Technology Services Office (ETSO) is seeking a Senior IT PMO Project Manager to direct the implementation and management of high-priority, high-profile Commonwealth enterprise-wide information technology projects and SME support. The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of professional IT project management experience.
The Senior IT PMO Project Manager will be tasked to:
- Manage OA/OIT sponsored projects of strategic importance
- Coordinate with multiple organizations involving stakeholders from OA/OIT, Commonwealth Delivery Centers, agencies, and the business partner/vendor community
- Report to the Division Chief of the ETSO Project Management Office
- Interface regularly with the Delivery Center and agency CIOs, CTOs, IT managers, project and portfolio managers, IT Governance and affiliated sub-committees as required
- Manage multiple complex ETSO projects simultaneously
- Report the status of assigned projects to the Division Chief of the ETSO Project Management Office, the Chief Technology Officer and ETSO Executive Team
- Escalate issues and risks as needed
- Take full accountability for all projects managed
- Work with the other ETSO managers, staff, and designated project managers, or technical leads
- Promote the use of project management best practices
- Ensure all projects in the portfolio are managed following those practices
- Demonstrate technical and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania expertise
