The ideal candidate will have 16+ years of experience as a BA, developing strategies and processes to improve overall business workflow.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 16+ years of experience as a BA
- 16+ years of experience with SDLC
- 16+ years of gathering requirements and documentation
- 16+ years of writing design specifications for complex systems
- 16+ years of business process analysis and implementing change
- 16+ years of Agile SDLC experience
- 16+ years of developing strategies and processes to improve overall business workflow
- 14+ years of experience with MS Project or other Project Management software
- 8+ years of experience with UI designs for web applications
- 5+ years of developing use cases
Desired Skills/Years of Experience:
- 8+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL
- 5+ years of experience with unemployment insurance

The Senior IT Business Analyst / Product Owner will be tasked to:
- Serve as a product owner
- Be responsible for requirements gathering and documentation using an agile methodology
- Perform backlog grooming sessions
- Coordinate with program staff and vendors
- Test and lead projects
- Work with technical groups and program resources
- Monitor the progress of delivering system requirements
- Evaluate the quality of deliverables against business requirements
- Assess the quality of use cases, test cases, and system requirements
- Utilize a hybrid agile and waterfall approach to deliver the system
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs
- Analyze business and user needs
- Document requirements
- Translate requirements into proper specifications
- Partner with stakeholders and users to analyze business and user needs
- Provide consultation on complex projects
- Integrate systems with various internal and external systems
