The District of Columbia’s Department of Employment Services (DOES) is seeking a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer to provide full stack application development, application design, and database management for Unemployment Insurance systems. The ideal candidate will possess 16+ years of conveying technical and functional concepts, 16+ years of preparing complex technical documentation, and 14+ years of database design and configuration.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 16+ years of experience conveying technical and functional concepts
- 16+ years of experience preparing complex technical documentation
- 14+ years of experience with database design and configuration
- 14+ years of experience with solution architecture and design
- 12+ years of experience in designing architectures for systems and solutions
- 12+ years of experience in consulting management and stakeholders in architecture
- 12+ years of experience with enterprise architectures, data modeling, and ETL architecture
- 12+ years of experience in documenting business processes, requirements, and test scripts
- 12+ years of experience with standard database concepts
- 12+ years of experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), REST, and/or AWS or other cloud IAAS providers

The District of Columbia’s Department of Employment Services (DOES) is seeking a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer to provide full stack application development, application design, and database management for Unemployment Insurance systems. The ideal candidate will possess 16+ years of conveying technical and functional concepts, 16+ years of preparing complex technical documentation, and 14+ years of database design and configuration.
The Senior .NET Full Stack Developer will be tasked to:
- Develop, document, and compose artifacts for Unemployment Insurance systems
- Partner with vendor in solution delivery
- Provide assessments of technical and operational practices based on industry standards
- Collaborate with team to gather requirement
- Write code for development of data system
- Test and deploy systems
- Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on user needs and industry requirements
- Devise procedures to solve complex problems
- Analyze business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and then translate that into system requirements
- Provide consultation on complex projects
- Serve as the top-level contributor/specialist of most phases of system analysis
- Analyze business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment
- Apply excellent written and verbal communication
