Short Description
The District of Columbia’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is seeking a Senior .NET Architect / Azure Storage to design and develop data tools, data integration, data quality, and transformation processes. The ideal candidate will have 16+ years of designing and developing large complex data applications and a Master’s degree in IT or a related field.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience
- 16+ years of designing and developing large complex data applications
- 16+ years of C#
- 12+ years of experience with SDLC, design patterns, and agile processes
- 12+ years of Microsoft stack and data security
- 12+ years of SQL Server 2008 and above
- 12+ years of understanding and documenting business rules and requirements for complicated and technical projects
- 5+ years of Web API 2.0
- 4+ years of Azure Storage and Data Lakes
- 2+ years of Angular 6.0 and Above
- 2+ years of Azure Databricks
- 1+ years of .NET Core
- 1+ years of Entity Framework Core
Desired Skills/Years of Experience:
- Master’s degree in IT or related field

The District of Columbia’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is seeking a Senior .NET Architect / Azure Storage to design and develop data tools, data integration, data quality, and transformation processes. The ideal candidate will have 16+ years of designing and developing large complex data applications and a Master’s degree in IT or a related field.
The Senior .NET Architect / Azure Storage will be tasked to:
- Design and develop data tools, data integration, data quality, and transformation processes
- Work with large data intensive application development projects
- Work with data services, multi-tier service architectures, and complex data transformations
- Liaise with the data lead on data process design
- Plan the delivery schedule
- Lead individual projects
- Ensure high quality output from teams
- Design and develop applications
- Design, develop, and implement data interfaces for data access and applications
- Design cloud infrastructure
- Implement automated testing approach
- Work closely with the data team
