The State of New Jersey’s Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and support its division applications while performing business analyst functions in a Scrum environment. The ideal candidate must have 6+ years of experience with IT Business Analysis in an Application Development Environment (ADE), proficiency with Agile and Scrum tools, and the ability to create and develop business and system workflows, and user stories.

Required Skills/Years of Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
• 6+ years as IT Business Analyst in Application Development Environment (ADE)
• 6+ years of writing User Stories
• 6+ years of creating business and systems workflow diagrams
• 6+ years of working in Scrum environment
• 6+ years of Agile/Scrum tools (JIRA or similar)
• 4+ years of writing User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts
• 3+ years of writing BRD's and FRD's
• 3+ years of creating GUI Wireframes
• 2+ years of MS Visio

Desired Skills/Years of Experience:

• PMP Certification
• 6+ years of Scrum Master
• 5+ years of creating automated smoke tests in Selenium
• 5+ years of creating automated regression tests in Selenium
• 5+ years of Selenium Framework development
• 3+ years of relational databases (SQL Server)

The ideal candidate must have 6+ years of experience with IT Business Analysis in an Application Development Environment (ADE), proficiency with Agile and Scrum tools, and the ability to create and develop business and system workflows, and user stories.

The Senior Business Analyst will be tasked to:

• Develop user stories
• Develop wireframes, workflows and other requirement artifacts
• Develop user acceptance testing scripts
• Perform user acceptance testing
• Perform Tier 2 and tier 3 trouble ticket resolutions
• Perform advanced data analysis
• Coordinate data cleanup
• Participate in Scrum teams as a subject matter expert or product owner
• Participate in story grooming and product backlog grooming sessions
