Short Description
The State of New Jersey’s Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (NJOHSP) is seeking a Salesforce Developer/Admin to lead the design, implementation, and management of the New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC) ’s internal and external Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of working cross-functionally with key stakeholders to design and implement web applications and Salesforce solutions and 5+ years of designing, coding, implementing, maintaining, and evolving web applications, Salesforce solutions and integrations.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or relevant experience
- 5+ years of working cross-functionally with key stakeholders to design and implement web applications and Salesforce solutions
- 5+ years of designing, coding, implementing, maintaining, and evolving web applications, Salesforce solutions and integrations
- 5+ years of Implementing & maintaining Internet and intranet apps using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sites, Force.com,Service Cloud,Comm Cloud,Visualforce
- 5+ years of gathering and analyzing requirements
- 5+ years of modeling business processes
- 5+ years of workflow development, tool customization, and upgrades
- 5+ years of providing documentation
- 5+ years of managing day-to-day development processes such as version control, code deployments and process management
- 5+ years of creating and managing custom code, custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflow, and approval processes
- 5+ years of developing and documenting regression, use case and unit testing scenarios
- 5+ years of administration and support of platform databases (managing profiles and roles, customization of objects, record types, page layouts, validations, and fields)
- 5+ years of identifying opportunities to utilize Salesforce to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support service offerings
- 5+ years of performing a variety of both complex and routine technical, analytical, and administrative duties, in a high paced environment

The State of New Jersey’s Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (NJOHSP) is seeking a Salesforce Developer/Admin to lead the design, implementation, and management of the New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC) ’s internal and external Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of working cross-functionally with key stakeholders to design and implement web applications and Salesforce solutions and 5+ years of designing, coding, implementing, maintaining, and evolving web applications, Salesforce solutions and integrations.
The Salesforce Developer/Admin will be tasked to:
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to design and implement web applications and Salesforce solutions that support the NJCCIC’s goals
- Design, code, implement, maintain, and evolve the NJCCIC’s web applications, Salesforce solutions and integrations
- Implement and maintain Internet and intranet applications using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sites, Force.com,Service Cloud,Community Cloud,Visualforce
- Assisting with requirements gathering and analysis, business process modeling, workflow development, tool customization, upgrades
- Assist with maintenance and documentation
- Manage day-to-day development processes such as version control, code deployments and process management
- Create and manage custom code, custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflow, and approval processes
- Develop and document regression, use case and unit testing scenarios
