Short Description
The State of New Jersey’s Administrative Office of the Courts (NJAOC) is seeking a PEGA System Architect to develop new systems and enhance functionality by utilizing the PEGA BPM platform and PEGA Cloud. The ideal candidate will possess 9+ years of IT experience, 7+ years of gathering and documenting requirements, and 6+ years of designing architecture on an enterprise level.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- Pega Certification as system architect
- 9+ years of experience with overall technical analysis and IT experience
- 7+ years of experience gathering and documenting requirements
- 6+ years of experience with data modeling
- 6+ years of experience designing architecture on a enterprise level
- 5+ years of experience with Pega Rules Process commander (PRPC) PRPC 6.0 and above
- 5+ years of experience with Pega Smart BPM
- 5+ years of experience with Pega Capture of objectives DCO
- 5+ years of experience with data classes and properties in Pega implementation
- 5+ years of experience with SCRUM development methodology
- 5+ years of experience converting business into process flows
- 5+ years of experience with configuring cases and case processing
- 5+ years of experience with functional and use case development
- 5+ years of experience translating business requirements to system functional requirements
- 5+ years of experience with one or more project management tools
- 3+ years of experience executing database queries
- 3+ years of experience with database integration using stored procedures
- 3+ years of experience with process commander automated unit testing
Desired Skills/Years of Experience:
- 1+ year of experience with Pega cloud
- 1+ year of experience with database integration using sql server, db2, and sybase

The State of New Jersey’s Administrative Office of the Courts (NJAOC) is seeking a PEGA System Architect to develop new systems and enhance functionality by utilizing the PEGA BPM platform and PEGA Cloud. The ideal candidate will possess 9+ years of IT experience, 7+ years of gathering and documenting requirements, and 6+ years of designing architecture on an enterprise level.
The PEGA System Architect will be tasked to:
- Collaborate with business analysts
- Develop new systems and enhance functionality with PEGA BPM platform and PEGA Cloud
- Collaborate and provide technical expertise to ITO and assigned unit for the development of applications built-on the PEGA platform and PEGA Cloud
- Work with PEGA Cloud
- Create data classes and properties in PEGA implementation
- Work with Designer Studio to enhance the case life cycle design
- Configure and test applications in process flow, UI screens, automated decisions, and prosperities
- Apply Scrum development methodology
- Integrate databases using stored procedures
- Execute database queries
- Integrate databases using SQL Server, DB2, and Sybase
- Work with Process Commander Automated unit testing
- Work with PEGA Agile Studio
- Utilize full life-cycle experience in large systems
- Apply understanding of government business process and operations
- Document requirements, functional designs, and test executions
- Convert business into process flow
- Design architecture on an Enterprise level
- Apply proficiency in one or more project management tools
- Work with data models and relational database concepts
- Configure case and case processing, business, functional and use case development
- Translate business requirement to system/functional requirements
- Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Provide technical analysis and IT expertise
- Evaluate the user needs
- Develop and implement PEGA technological solutions
- Unit test the team’s work using PEGAUnit rule testing
- Collaborate with the business analysts and users to test systems
- Work with PEGA cloud infrastructure

- Demonstrate a strong background in requirements gathering, tracking, and analysis
- Communicate information to both technical and non-technical professionals
- Utilize working knowledge and experience of the PEGA Rules Process Commander: PRPC 6.x and above
- Apply the principles of application design and development
