The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience with MDM/EMM platforms, 4+ years of integration MDM with Office 365, and 3+ years of experience troubleshooting Android mobile devices.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience using MDM / EMM platforms such as Workplace One
- 4+ years of experience with Office 365 and MDM Integration with Office 365
- 4+ years of experience configuring 3rd party LDAP / ADFS application integration
- 4+ years of experience complying with established standards/procedures
- 4+ years of experience planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting skills focused on Android Smartphones
- 1+ years of experience supporting Mobile device end-user training

The District of Columbia’s Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) is seeking a Mobile Field Technician to assist with mobile device management and technical support. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience with MDM/EMM platforms, 4+ years of integration MDM with Office 365, and 3+ years of experience troubleshooting Android mobile devices.
The Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) provides prevention, intervention and treatment services and support for children, youth, and adults with mental and/or substance use disorders including emergency psychiatric care and community-based outpatient and residential services.
The Office of Information Technology at DBH provided IT services in support of the mission of the agency. The IT team is looking for a Mobile Field Technician to support the roll out of mobile devices to support telemedicine for residents in the District of Columbia. This role will include work at various clinical service provider locations as well as potential residences throughout the District of Columbia. The work will also include interacting and communicating with members of the DC Community with mental and or substance use disorders.
The Mobile Field Technician will be tasked to:
- Manage assets including cataloging all smart phones in inventory and making sure they have the appropriate asset tag; and cataloging all assets and their assigned user.
- Train the proper use of smartphones. This may include one-on-one in person, web based training, and classroom settings.
- Provide first level support of all mobile devices including taking help desk requests via phone, email, or IT service management tickets. Working with residents in person at a Clinical Support Provider Location or residence will be required as needed.
- Support the installation of applications on SmartPhones and the subsequent security settings.
- Leverage Mobile Device Management tools (i.e Airwatch, InTune or XenMobile) for asset management, update management and endpoint management.
- Lead day to day enrollment/provisioning/monitoring of smart phones
- Lead tracking, monitoring, and troubleshooting of smart phones as required
- Distribute SmartPhones to users at remote locations within the District. This will require appointments to be set up in advance and coordination with the distribution sites shall also be required.
- Reach out to telecom service carrier help desks shall also be required to arrange for technical assistance and repair of Smartphones.
