Short Description
The State of New Jersey’s Department of Health (DOH) is seeking a MS Dynamics QA Lead to lead the quality assurance (QA) testing efforts for a MS Dynamics Licensing Application while gathering, developing, analyzing and documenting business requirements. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience conducting QA testing, writing test cases and plans and have functional experience with MS Dynamics/Dynamics 365.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent study
- 5+ years of conducting Quality Assurance (QA) Testing
- 5+ years of writing test cases and plans
- 5+ years of all phases of testing focusing on pre-release and pre-UAT
- 5+ years of managing projects with an emphasis on manual testing
- 5+ years of issuing and managing tickets in JIRA; or equivalent tools
- 5+ years of working with SharePoint as a document repository
- 5+ years of working within an Agile development environment
- 5+ years of leading and running Smoke Testing
- 5+ years of leading and running Regression testing
- 5+ years of leading and running Black box testing
- 5+ years of leading and running White box testing
- 5+ years of leading and running Automation testing
- 5+ years of leading and running full SDLC testing

The State of New Jersey’s Department of Health (DOH) is seeking a MS Dynamics QA Lead to lead the quality assurance (QA) testing efforts for a MS Dynamics Licensing Application while gathering, developing, analyzing and documenting business requirements. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience conducting QA testing, writing test cases and plans and have functional experience with MS Dynamics/Dynamics 365.
The MS Dynamics QA Lead will be tasked to:
- Lead Quality Assurance (QA) efforts including Web Application Software Testing, reporting bugs to developers and retesting remediated items.
- Lead key specific software projects with an emphasis on testing, quality assurance, project requirements gathering/specification.
- Collaborate with the team to create tests to ensure test coverage across all modules in the project.
- Examine and test software so that defects may be corrected before going into production.
- Possess the ability to review and interpret business requirements and translate them into test procedures.
- Lead and run Smoke testing, Regression testing, Black box testing, White box testing, automation testing, and full SDLC testing.
- Have the ability to apply test methodologies into daily routines and perform repeatable testing processes and procedures.
- Evaluate and test new or modified software programs.
- Write, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures.
- Prepare project documentation as required; test cases, test scripts, bugs, improvements.
- Possess functional Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience.
- Conduct business analysis functions such as documenting as-is processes, recommend improvements and streamline business processes into design documents of to-be processes.
- Maintain requirement change requests and track gaps between software and business requirements specifications.
- Perform additional job duties as required.
