Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience with Java
- 7+ years of experience with Java Script
- 7+ years of experience with HTML
- 7+ years of experience with CSS
- 2+ years of experience with Spring Boot
- 2+ years of experience with REST Services
Desired Skills/Years of Experience:

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to deliver support and design for industry specific applications that require integration with statewide systems or applications. The ideal candidate will possess 7+ years of Java, 7+ years of Java Script, and 7+ years of HTML.
The Java Full Stack Developer will be tasked to:
- Perform advanced Java development tasks
- Perform code reviews and assist in mentoring other developers
- Assist the Senior Architect and Team Lead in Java design and development tasks to complete high priority IT portfolio projects
- Perform significant coding tasks as well as mentoring/assisting/reviewing
- Develop and maintain Common Components as needed
- Provide architecture and advanced programming skills to high priority IT portfolio projects as directed
- Perform knowledge transfer/transition activities to facilitate the use and maintenance of developed components
