Short Description

The District of Columbia’s Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) is seeking a IT Project Manager/Business Analyst to provide product feature guidance of the new Short Term Rental application. The ideal candidate will possess 11+ years of performing market analysis, 11+ years of gathering and documenting business requirements, and 11+ years of creating user stories for design and development.

Required Skills/Years of Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
• 11+ years of experience performing market analysis to determine available systems and tools
• 11+ years of experience working with customers to gather and document business requirements
• 11+ years of experience creating user stories for design and development of a system
• 7+ years of experience managing IT projects
• 7+ years of experience performing quality assurance tasks such as UAT
• 7+ years of experience with UX design

Desired Skills/Years of Experience:

• 5+ years of experience using Asana project management tool
• 2+ years of experience using LodgingRevs short term rental compliance system

The ideal candidate will possess 11+ years of performing market analysis, 11+ years of gathering and documenting business requirements, and 11+ years of creating user stories for design and development.

The IT Project Manager/Business Analyst will be tasked to:

• Oversee and manage the Short Term Rental application from beginning to end
• Use market research to get ideas for features that customers will want
• Help oversee the design and planning of the app and how to market and promote the app to the public
• Assist with defining product marketing communication objectives
• Provide management with analysis and reports
• Respond to questions and requests from management
• Specify and oversee research to determine customers’ needs and desires
