The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience writing and debugging Python and building data pipelines and 3+ years of experience with data lakes in an AWS environment.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience using fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking to document requirements while applying strong problem solving and analytical skills
- 5+ years of experience with communication and interpersonal skills
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Powerpoint, Visio, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- 2+ years of experience with Auto CAD drawings
- 2+ years of experience working on project coordinator or project management

The State of New Jersey’s Department of Health (NJDOH) is seeking a Cloud Engineer to lead in data pipelines and data infrastructure, build or assist in building data infrastructure, and assist in any data engineering tasks. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience writing and debugging Python and building data pipelines and 3+ years of experience with data lakes in an AWS environment.
The IT Project Manager will be tasked to:
- Report to Senior Project Manager who will assign project work assignments and provide training
- Prepare close-out documentation and assist in scheduling training for agencies
- Document meeting minutes and issues related to projects
- Answer phone calls and emails from clients during business hours under supervision
- Provide assistance to ISU staff to complete projects as needed under supervision
- Alert supervisors of slippage in the project schedule and make recommendations to keep the project on track
- Drive to other buildings to participate in site visits with ISU staff
- Assemble project documentation for purchase orders and payments
- Update spreadsheets with project progress under supervision
- Use provided templates to draft requests for projects and associated documents under supervision
- Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and DPMC to track project progress using project management software (Microsoft Project)
- Develop the project deliverable task list and generate Gaant charts
