The State of New Jersey’s Automated Trial Court Services Unit (NJATCSU) is seeking a IT Business Analyst / QA Engineer with UI, documentation, and testing experience to support the existing eCourts Criminal Projects and to resolve reported issues. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of proven IT Business Analyst experience that includes documentation, testing, and user support.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or related 6+ years of professional experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Visio
- 5+ years of experience developing systems via a structured SDLC methodology
- 5+ years of experience testing, training, and providing user support
- 5+ years of experience with UI design
- 5+ years of experience documenting storyboards, screen mockups, wireframes, system flows, interfaces, use cases, and business rules
- 5+ years of experience analyzing and documenting complex business processes and workflows, and propose areas for improvement
- 5+ years of experience gathering data via diverse means (i.e. interviews, observation, surveys, existing written documentation) and interpret relevant information
- 2+ years of experience testing applications
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting reported application issues
Desired Skills/Years of Experience:
- 3+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- 2+ years of experience with Pega Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO)

The State of New Jersey’s Automated Trial Court Services Unit (NJATCSU) is seeking a IT Business Analyst / QA Engineer with UI, documentation, and testing experience to support the existing eCourts Criminal Projects and to resolve reported issues. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of proven IT Business Analyst experience that includes documentation, testing, and user support.
The IT Business Analyst / QA Engineer will be tasked to:
- Serve as a Business Analyst for projects involving critical data processing systems for the New Jersey Judiciary
- Develop and document business requirements
- Create User Interface mockups
- Assisting the technical teams in the development and documentation of technical requirement
- Testing the resultant software (including user Acceptance Testing)
- Creating instruction manuals
- Teaching the system to end users
- Assist users with helpdesk issues
- Analyze and document complex business processes and workflows
- Propose areas for improvement
- Gather data via diverse means (i.e. interviews, observation, surveys, existing written documentation) and interpret relevant information
- Document storyboards, screen mockups, wireframes, system flows, interfaces, use cases, and business rules
