The State of New Jersey’s Automated Trial Court Services Unit (NJATCSU) is seeking an IT Business Analyst to develop and document business requirements, create User Interface mockups, assist technical teams developing and documenting technical requirements, test resultant software (Acceptance Testing), create instruction manuals, and teach the system to end users. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of IT business analyst experience, 5+ years with wireframing and UI prototyping applications, and 5+ years of testing, training, and supporting users.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst
- 5+ years of experience developing systems via a structured SDLC methodology
- 5+ years of experience testing, training, and supporting users
- 5+ years of experience with UI design
- 5+ years of experience with documenting storyboards, screening mockups, wireframes, system flows, interfaces, use cases, and business rules

The IT Business Analyst will be tasked to:
- Serve as a business analyst for projects involving critical data processing systems
- Demonstrate strong skills with wireframing and UI prototyping applications
- Develop and document business requirements
- Create user interface mockups
- Assist the technical teams in the development and documentation of technical requirements
- Test the resultant software
- Perform user acceptance testing
- Create instruction manuals
- Teach system to end users
- Assist users with helpdesk issues
- Develop systems via a structured SDLC methodology
- Test, train, andd support users
- Work with UI design
- Analyze and document complex business processes and workflows
- Propose areas for improvement
- Gather data via diverse means and interpret relevant information
