Short Description

This is a short term engagement with a maximum duration of six months. The first four months will consist of paid on-the-job training. The goal is to be eligible for promotion on or before the 6 month engagement end date. The ideal candidate must possess strong written, verbal, and listening skills along with a Bachelor's degree. We will accept 6 years of professional in-office work experience in lieu of a Bachelor degree.

The Human Resources Associate position will support the organization with the onboarding, management, and offboarding of Dantech Team Members. This role will ensure compliance with the various requirements for contract and employment obligations. This is an excellent position for anyone who is interested in Human Resources Management, Information Technology, learning new skills, and helping others.
The ideal candidate has clerical experience in a fast paced environment. Familiarity with HR, Staffing and/or IT work environments is also a plus. For this role, you must be able to quickly learn new skills, new processes, and specific jargon. You must also be very capable with using laptops, text messaging, and email etiquette while working efficiently and professionally. A professional demeanor and communication style is a must. You will be tasked to document and create procedures and forms, generate reports, and answer inquiries.
The Human Resources Associate will be tasked to:
- Become a highly valued, contributing member of the Dantech Team
- Become a subject matter expert on office policy and procedures
- Support the day-to-day office and HR operations
- Take direction from the management team to ensure operations are running efficiently and on time
- Support the Human Resource policies and programs covering the following areas: team member relations, recruitment, development, dismissal, and retention of employees
- Strive to meet or exceed goals and earn performance incentives
- Schedule and facilitate meetings and appointments
- Author, send, and answer professional emails
- Learn by example quickly and document/update procedures and forms
- Create, update, organize, and maintain documentation
- Collate, grow, and groom data in folders and spreadsheets
- Input data and track data using spreadsheets, client portals, etc.
- Create and send accurate weekly projections
- Answer inquiries from the public and fellow Team Members
- Assist with new team member onboarding
- Follow-up with phone calls and/or research to complete documentation
- Follow up with Dantech Team Members to correct submitted information
- Access client and internal applications to ensure that data is correct
- Send regular email reminders about timesheet and invoice due dates
- Ensure the office environment is available, clean, and safe for Dantech Team Members
- Answer Dantech phones (as necessary)
- Be friendly, professional, dependable, and eager to learn
- Support internal projects and office functions
- Completed additional administrative tasks, as requested
