The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of developing IT solutions, 3+ years of ASP.Net MVC, and 5+ years of C#.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience with development of IT solutions
- 5+ years of experience with C#
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle
- 5+ years of experience with MS SQL Server 2012 or newer
- 5+ years of experience with UI Design (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Ajax, and JQuery)

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of Waste Management (DEP) is seeking a .NET developer to utilize ASP.Net MVC, ADO.net, and entity framework to develop and expand an existing e-permitting system. The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of developing IT solutions, 3+ years of ASP.Net MVC, and 5+ years of C#.
The .NET Full Stack Developer will be tasked to:
- Utilize current DEP development standards to create secure external facing web-based applications, internal infrastructure, and required databases
- Build and consume web services to integrate with other systems
- Design and create database tables and structures, database views, functions, and stored procedures, while maintaining data quality and security
- Upgrade the .Net frameworks to latest for existing applications
- Upgrade and rewrite the applications to newer .Net 6
- Design Oracle and SQL database, tables, and views
- Write database functions and stored procedures
- Develop enhancements or features using: C#, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, XML, CSS and Visual Studio 2017
- Test enhancement and development programs
- Participate in structured code reviews and walkthroughs
- Execute all required process steps
- Create and provide content for operational documentation to technical writers
- Utilize configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement an application
- Work in an agile team environment
- Manage and complete assigned tasks in Azure DevOps
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
