Short Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Agriculture (PDA) is seeking a .NET Full Stack Developer to design and build new web-based applications that adhere to the Conservation and Environment Delivery Center coding standards and comply with the Commonwealth’s Digital Accessibility Policy. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience with C#, UI development, and development of information technology solutions.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience developing information technology solutions
- 5+ years of experience using C#
- 5+ years of experience with ASP.Net Core 3.1 (and higher)
- 5+ years of experience with UI development
- 5+ years of experience using Visual Studio 2022
- 5+ years of experience with Entity Framework (code first/database first)
- 5+ years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2019 (creating tables, developing stored procedures, encrypting data)
- 5+ years of experience with developing/consuming web APIs and shared services
- 5+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- 5+ years of experience with managing work items and source code using Azure DevOps
- 5+ years of experience using excellent communication skills
Desired Skills/Years of Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with the ability to setup and run SAST code scans using tools such as Veracode
- 5+ years of experience with experience with Adobe AEM Headless Content Management System a plus
- 5+ years of knowledge of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Agriculture (PDA) is seeking a .NET Full Stack Developer to design and build new web-based applications that adhere to the Conservation and Environment Delivery Center coding standards and comply with the Commonwealth’s Digital Accessibility Policy. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience with C#, UI development, and development of information technology solutions.
The .NET Full Stack Developer will be tasked to:
- Design and build new web-based applications that adhere to the Conservation and Environment Delivery Center coding standards and comply with the Commonwealth’s Digital Accessibility Policy
- Demonstrate extensive development experience using C#, ASP.NET Core (and higher), Visual Studio 2022, and Microsoft SQL Server
- Participate in UI/UX design
- Create tables, develop stored procedures, and encrypt data in Microsoft SQL Server 2019
- Develop/consume Web APIs and shared services
- Utilize Agile/Scrum development methodologies
