Short Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office of Administration Office for Information Technology (OA/OIT) is seeking a .NET Developer (eGrants) to manage, develop, and enhance eGrants applications. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience with ASP.Net, C#, VB.Net, SQL Server Database, and Entity Framework.
* This position is remote, but the candidate must have the ability to be on-site as requested.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- 5+ years of experience with ASP.Net, C#, VB.Net
- 5+ years of experience with SQL Server Database
- 5+ years of experience with Entity Framework
- 5+ years of experience with ADO.Net
- 5+ years of experience with Web Forms and MVC
- 5+ years of experience with Web Services, Web API
- 5+ years of experience with HTML5, JQuery, CSS
- 5+ years of experience with SSRS
- 5+ years of experience with Team Foundation Server, GIT
Desired Skills/Years of Experience:

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office of Administration Office for Information Technology (OA/OIT) is seeking a .NET Developer (eGrants) to manage, develop, and enhance eGrants applications. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience with ASP.Net, C#, VB.Net, SQL Server Database, and Entity Framework.
The .NET Developer (eGrants) will be tasked to:
- Work in development of eGrants application modules for various agencies in Commonwealth
- Develop ASP.Net WebForms and MVC apps using C#, VB.Net, JavaScript, and SQL Server
- Perform unit tests and troubleshoot issues with applications
- Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency through the SDLC
- Deliver high quality code, lead validations for testing and all activities related to implementation
- Document, design, develop, test, implement and support solutions such as ASP.Net web applications and SSRS reports to support data analysis
- Work closely with business units and team members to thoroughly understand business processes
- Consult and collaborate with business to translate needs into analytics/reporting requirements
- Track the status of assigned projects to ensure timely completion. Maintain communication with project manager and project team regarding progress of work
- Identify opportunities for improving code quality and implementing industry standard procedures and guidelines
- Develop and implement SQL Database objects and integrate dotNet code using ADO.Net and Entity Framework
