The State of New Jersey’s Office of Information Technology (NJOIT) under the Judiciary is seeking a Bootstrap Web Developer to assist with day-to-day content updates and projects in the web environment. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience
- 3+ years of HTML5
- 3+ years of CSS3
- 11+ years of C#
- 11+ years of SQL Server
- 3+ years of JavaScript
- 3+ years of JQuery and JSON technologies
- 3+ years of performing daily website updates and creating new site pages on an enterprise website
- 2+ years of providing feedback on website best practices
- 1+ years of Bootstrap 4
- 1+ years of web development troubleshooting
Complete Description
The State of New Jersey’s Office of Information Technology (NJOIT) under the Judiciary is seeking a Bootstrap Web Developer to assist with day-to-day content updates and projects in the web environment. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery.
The Bootstrap Web Developer will be tasked to:
- Assist with day-to-day content updates and projects in the web environment
- Work independently and be able to ask questions and seek clarification
- Maintain, support, and develop internal and external websites
- Utilize HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and JSON technologies
- Respond to work requests from managers and staff in many departments
- Respond to requests from senior management and provide creative solutions to unique issues
- Work with in-house web team staff to ensure that standards and best practices are being followed
- Provide knowledge transfer to staff members and management
- Work quickly and accurately on all websites
- Analyze work requests and build or modify web pages as required
- Successfully unit test their work and the team’s work when required
- Participate with the business analysts and/or users in system testing
- Demonstrate a strong background in requirements gathering, tracking, and analysis
- Communicate information to both technical and non-technical professionals
- Understand the principles of web design and development
