Required Skills/Years of Experience

- 7+ years of experience using HTML 4/5
- 7+ years of experience using CSS
- 7+ years of experience using JavaScript
- 5+ years of performing web based system design
- 5+ years of experience using responsive design patterns
- 5+ years of having a strong understanding of UT and UX principles
- 4+ years of experience using AngularJS
- 3+ years of using Python

Complete Description
The State of New Jersey’s Department of Health (NJDOH) is seeking an Angular Developer to develop enhancements and improvements to New Jersey's Immunization registry (NJIIS). The ideal candidate will possess 7+ years of proven web UI development and 5+ years of responsive web design development using Angular and JavaScript.
The Angular Developer will be tasked to:
- Understand government business processes and operations, including familiarity with HIPPA and NJAC regulations
- Apply excellent communication and presentation skills to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs by facilitating brainstorming sessions with health professionals
- Leverage experience in design and development modular reusable components for Java Enterprise, Angular JS/12, HTML 4/5.
- Apply strong knowledge of web programming specifics and experience in building web-based applications
- Utilize experience with JSON processing, MVC frameworks, REST methodology (creating and consuming REST web services), and relational databases
- Develop client side JavaScript, CSS and HTML based UI
- Analyze or recommend commercially available software or other IT architectural components
- Prioritize work and establish deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor progress of team members
- Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the project team
- Develop contingency plans as necessary
- Manage requirement gathering and change management process
- Perform all responsibilities with little direct supervision
